 Quran & Qahwah:

Two of my favorite things in this world. Coffee and our Holy Book.

The Ramadan of 2018, I found myself & my best friends discussing the Quran & its teachings late into the Ramadan nights over coffee and arab3meyeh (The card game - 400). The environment was open, safe and a place where we could share our ideas/thoughts with no judgement. At the time, there were not any groups like this - it led me to wanting to create this same space for those closest to me and even more so for women around the world. (Coming soon inshallah)

As my thoughts for Q & Q evolved over the years and my want for an aesthetically pleasing environment became more clear, I decided to start somewhere, which is how our Instagram was born. A grid of beauty both in the visual effect and spiritual.

In 2019, as I was preparing for my upcoming wedding and moving into my own house with my now husband, I was struggling with finding islamic home decor/eid decor that was minimal and fit my aesthetic, so I decided that I would turn my page into all the things that I loved with a mixture of modern pieces that could easily fit into our home. The most notable piece, which I am proud to launch this Eid Al-Fitr, was that of the Holy Quran. If you walk into any store here in Dearborn, MI-or really anywhere online-you will find many beautiful Qurans. However, it was clear to me that although there were many options to choose from, the cover of the Quran had not evolved with the modern, minimal trend that many of us have adopted over the years. So, I decided to create an absolutely stunning, minimal version of The Holy Quran that would fit perfectly into my home & many of the homes that have trended into this aesthetic over the years.

As I continued onto this journey of mine, I had found many other aspects of Islam that could use a bit of love-including celebratory decor for the Eid's, home decor for the minimal, modern muslim and so much more.

My hope for this company is to be the largest Muslim retailer in the world. To be the 'Joanna Gaines' of Target. (My third favorite thing in the world) & so much more. After-all, if people aren't laughing at your dreams, are they big enough?

I am so happy you're here & I cant wait for you to see where we are headed.

With All My Love,

Erica Abbas.
